Intentional Cooking and why it works

Share it Please

Several years ago, I stumbled on a book at a small bookstore in town called "The Hidden Messages in Water" by Dr. Masaru Emoto (1943-2014). In it, the author conducts a series of experiments on water, photographing the crystals before and after.  The results were astonishing.  The water crystals changed shapes and forms after Dr. Emoto's team applied various messages (gratitude, love, hate, war, etc.) to the water, visibly improving its formations with positive messages, and distorting the crystals with negative ones.

Although, Dr. Emoto received much ridicule for this work from mainstream science, recently, more scientists have been replicating his work with great success. At the Aerospace Institute of the University of Stuttgart in Germany, scientists have had incredible results by immersing different types of flowers in water and showing how the water kept a memory of that.

I believe that water is an important ingredient in our food, and our well-being.  Prior to opening the Bistro, we installed a massive filtration system that filters chlorine, chloramine(s), florid, sediments and particulate, cysts, copepods, VOCs, SOCs, THMs, PAHs, atrazine, benzene, xylene, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, tastes, odors and hundreds of other potential contaminants and harmful chemicals from the water entering the bistro.

The reason was quite simple, whether brewing your morning coffee, making soup or washing vegetables and fruits, I wanted to be sure that the water we used from preparing the meals to the drinking water at our table was clean.
And in following Dr. Emoto's brilliant findings, I also added notes to the water source at the filtration level to raise the vibration further.  Call me crazy, but our water tastes awesome!

Everyday, we cook with the intention of preparing the best meal for our guests, one at a time, with diligence and care.  We are blessed with an amazing staff in the kitchen as well as the front of the house.  We are grateful to all our guests near and far who have supported us and our community.

And when it comes to cooking for you and your family, enjoy the process and do it mindfully with happy thoughts and joyful spirit because the food you're handling is the vehicle transporting your vibes to those you intend to nourish. So gather your family at your table and replenish the tummies and souls with health, well being and bliss.

Happy Cooking!
